A new can of worms for Reti gambiteers!

If you're watching this blog in hope of new ideas in the KG or the Reti Gambit here's a little treat for y'a

I've just started a thread on ChessPub to discuss a new idea in the RG, i.e

1.e4 e6 2.b3 d5 3.Bb2 dxe4 4.Nc3 Nf6 5.f3!?

Here's the link: New idea in the Reti Gambit

I just found out that The Fascinating King's Gambit is available as Kindle Edition, will the Fascinating Reti Gambit feature a Kindle Edition, too?

Hi, I actually didn't know the FKG has come out in a kindle-format. I suppose that is the same as pdf?

Lulu.com does seem to offer the option of publishing as an ebook - so I'll check it out and if it's not too time consuming to do, (i.e. if it doesn't involve reformatting all the text), I guess it couldn't hurt to publish it as an ebook - it would certainly be more easy to read on a screen than the FKG... :)

If it's allowed, I might even add a brief chapter with 'new developments' in the RG - unless that would require a republishing of the paperbook...

Best wishes,

Thomas

Well, strictly speaking the kindle format is different from pdf, but I just took a look at the sample and it looks very much like the pdf i.e. no flexible layout.

Which makes it kinda unreadable on the little kindle screen. That's probably the reason for the very low price. (3,17 euro)

Strange that you don't even know about it.

Anyhow, if the FRG is better readable as ebook it would be great and of course I'm all for "new developments".
;-)

All the best
